Negative Pressure Wound Therapy( NPWT)  is a medical device system that promotes wound healing by delivering negative pressure (a vacuum) at the wound site through a patented dressing and therapy unit creating an environment that promotes the wound healing process. This negative pressure helps draw wound edges together, remove wound fluids and infections materials and promote granulation tissue formation (the connective tissue in healing wounds).

NPWT system is an advanced wound therapy system consisting of two parts:The NPS2000 NPWT unit that delivers negative pressure;The NPSD1000 dressing kits that are placed in the wound and connects to the NPWT unit.
